mother of the groom dresses for summer

I can't explain.

The smile. The feelings. The days both of these photos represent. .

It's not about the visual transformation that took place and that can be seen. It's the happiness that was found deep within, that had been dimmed by a serious emotional connection with food and fears of failure. A stereotype that I held on to that was broken. To be perfect meant- I had to be a particular weight, size, fit in particular outfits, had to be flawless and that I had to starve ... myself to get there.

These were all ingrained habits from a young age that perhaps many us can relate to.?.?. What came out of it all... I learned to love my scars. Inside-Out. Learned to LOVE food and to treat it as fuel. Not an emotional blanket or for comfort, to stop counting calories, stop the yo yo dieting, stop comparing myself to others (place those blinders on), I learned to stop feeling guilty, stop self destructing and to TAKE ON new journeys that continue to make me grow to help others. . mother of the groom dresses for summer
You guys change takes time, it's ok to feel frustrated, to want to give up, to restart again, to have days that you feel like your steps aren't getting you anywhere. But the baby steps will lead you to a healthier destination and to one that last longer than any quick fix. You just have to BELIEVE in yourself. You know someone is probably looking at you right now that can't stopping thinking about how truly amazing you are. They believe in you with all their heart.
Question: WILL YOU? .
.
I want to share this gift, to help create healthy habits and help you feel your best! That by making small changes you too can feel good in anything & love yourself, stop depression, lower your anxiety and break the chains of negative self talk.
